We have successfully added localization to BV commerce 5.5 It can handle as many languages as you want and as many currencies as you want.

This was no easy task as it took more than a year of development to get this done.
Multi languages has the followings


As a language is added to the localization tab
A page is automatically created for site terms and directory is required in the site buttons i.e. for French you would be required to create a folder fr in you theme folder.

Products and product variation have additional boxes for the languages.

All categories have additional languages boxes
Custom pages have to be identified for the language etc

We are in the final testing phase of the project. Hope to have more news for you guys soon.

We have finished the multi currency for BVC 5. with web service for updates. If anyone want to see it working let me know we are also not to far from completing the multi language pack. It’s a complete rewrite of BVC5
